AIVR Go

Rapid Data Collection and Access

The AIVR Go easily captures and transmits HD video whilst on the move.  The phone-sized Edge device can be mounted on any operational train within moments and automatically transmits video via 4G to be instantly accessible securely online. It also applies Machine Learning to understand the context of the environment.

Internally Mounted AIVR Go

The Phone-sized AIVR Go device can be mounted internally in the windscreen of a wide range of class of locomotive, using an easily operated suction mount.

The AIVR Go device can be moved between multiple routes and trains on any given day to capture the routes you need.  The device operates in daylight hours, is activated on motion and will go to black screen once the preview screen has been checked.  It can be battery powered or plugged into mains.

Externally Mounted AIVR Go

The AIVR Go device can be positioned externally in approved robust housing developed collaboratively with Network Rail’s Signalling Innovations Group.

The housing can be mounted by hand on the Tail Lamp bracket of any class of locomotive which has the appropriate bracket.

Accessible

The AIVR-Go automatically activates on motion, detecting GPS location and mapping it to ELR Miles & Chains. AIVR-Go will transmit the video data, location and other telemetry via 4G.

When 4G Connectivity is poor it will temporarily store the data until back in comms and then transmit.

Agreements have been made with all TOCs for the AIVR to be mounted.

Actionable

Internally mounted AIVR-Go is controlled by the device screen for image preview.  The screen reverts to black whilst in the cab.

Externally mounted AIVR-Go is controlled by the AIVR Companion App for image preview.
